Air Valve
Hey everyone. I am creating this thread hoping that if there are any Serious Kit users out there (I know there’s a couple) we can throw around some ideas to make some improvements- not that many are needed.
To begin, the air valves that control the constant and pulsation vacuum going to the SPT.
The SPT has 2 air lines running to it- one for constant vacuum, and another for pulsation vacuum. Each line has a valve to control the amount of vacuum. In order for most SPT’s to work, the constant vacuum valve needs to be opened slightly and the pulsation valve is adjusted as needed.
Here’s the problem I’m having, one solution I’m trying, and I’d like to get other people's thoughts.
The valve only turns 90 degrees, which makes it difficult to get precise adjustments. My wife and I use this together in our “play sessions”, and with the constant vacuum valve only needing to be opened slightly, 90 degrees doesn’t really give you enough range for these adjustments. A couple of times, the vacuum pressure has been too strong, and after taking the SPT off (it’s the black, conductive liner- not see through) it is full of pink lube (lube + blood). So, in wanting to prevent this from happening again, I’ve been looking for a valve- just for the constant vacuum side- to replace the factory valve.
The only valve I tried so far is a needle valve, and I must say it worked great. I do not like my setup- the valve I got is a compression valve, and I need it to be ⅜” or 10mm barbed, so I had to add tubing, then go from compression to ¼” NPT and then add the barbed fitting so I could push it into the hose. It works, but isn’t pretty. That can be changed.
So, I’m just wondering, has anyone else thought about this, or played around with it?
Thanks

Re: Serious Kit Hacks / Mods / Adjustments
Do you have a link to the needle valve? Any pics of the set up? I have a SeriousKit coming in 2 days and I’d really love to make your modification. Seems simple enough and massively beneficial
