MK-312BT E-Stim Control Box

It's update time (long overdue I know so apologies everyone). I have finished my MK-312BT and have really been enjoying it. I still love my E-stim Systems 2B but this is one very capable e-stim control box.

I decided to edit the STL file for printing out a case for it over purchasing one as I wanted to personalise it a bit.

So I added my site name (of course) and placed the blue tooth mp3 player on the top where it is easy to operate the controls. The only problem with its position is using the remote, but in a dark room, it isn't a problem. It is position on the top I can operate the controls and inside it sits neatly between the battery and front panel nicely. I had to make sure it didn't interfere with the Bluetooth antennae plugged into the main PCB and it doesn't.

I hope you like these pics and I will continue to have a lot of fun with it alongside my other boxes. This one is going into a new travel play case so I can take it to clubs and things like that with some electrodes and electrogel of course.

Have you used it enough the have a favorite setting yet? I love Climb with the MA setting at 11:00

Climb is fantastic but I am still experimenting with it as there is so many ways to tweak things.

Given my 312B is "dead" - I'm very interested in this, but need to do lots, lots more research.

I've found some YouTube vids of a live stream building the boards, but I need more more info on the build

I finally got around to doing something on the Arduino shield unit I mentioned earlier. I have built a vero-board prototype. It's only a single channel unit at the moment and the circuit diagram is spread over a few pencil sketches. I got it down to about 35 components (including the switches etc for the keypad) plus an Arduino Nano and an (optional) MT3608 step-up regulator module. I'm using a 42TM001 transformer that is slightly bigger that the one used by the MK312 with a slightly higher turns-ratio (8.1:1 against 6.7:1) so I have plenty of reserve in terms of both current and voltage capability with a view to limiting these as needed in the software. I have only used it up to about 30% so far so its way more powerful than the TENs units I have used up to now.
The code is only a 120-some line test piece with only 1 pattern so far but I'm working on a simple pattern selection menu perhaps using low-intensity pulses to save the user looking at displays etc to know what they have selected.

I used the 42TU400 in my last build MK312 build. It is very close to the TM001. The info for using this trans states different values for a couple caps. I left them aloneand the result was a much smoother and not so "bitey" signal which flet like it got a bit deeper. Plenty of reserve power as well. Very interested in your progress on this project. These are the initial schematics. Seems to work really well but I may fool about with a series RC snubber network on the output to see if it makes any perceptible difference.

Thanks for the update, I love seeing projects like this develope and while I am a techno-fuckwit and the circuit diagrams are way over my head it is good to see things being pushed forwards within the community. Well done. The arduino is a fascinating piece of etchnology.
